A cozy little corner of the web for walking around, waving, gesturing, resizing your avatar, loading a custom picture, and talking with people in real rooms.
Private Rooms are real: create one, pick a password, share it with friends (and this same page/link), and you'll all see each other's chat and movement instantly via WebSockets. You can give a room a custom wallpaper.
Voice Channel (right sidebar): live group voice. Use headphones for best quality. Open mic keeps full duplex; smart gate only sends when you speak. Names only in the people list.
Get around & express yourself: while observing, left-click the room to auto-enter and walk there. Drag to walk, right-click your avatar (or long-press) for gestures, or type /wave, /dance, /jump, /sit, /laugh, /clap, /kiss, /cry, or /shrug in chat โ or press 1โ9 anytime.
Find (toolbar): see whoโs online in every room. Whisper anyone (even other rooms). Join goes to their room โ private rooms show ๐ and ask for the password. Messaging someone in the people list also opens a private ๐ whisper thread.
Games: right-click someoneโs avatar or people-list row โ ๐ฎ Play game, or select them and hit ๐ฎ Play. Tic-Tac-Toe, Battleship, Connect Four, Checkers, RPS, and Flappy Race.
ParlorVP is a fan-made homage to the classic avatar chat rooms of the late 90s โ Virtual Places, Excite Talk, and VPchat.com among them โ reimagined with modern glass and gestures, but the same spirit of walking into a room and just talking. Not affiliated with any of them. It runs on its own WebSocket backend โ movement, chat, gestures, and live voice signaling are instant. Room data lives in memory and resets on server restart.

Private Roomร
Pick a password and share it with whoever you want to invite. They open this same page and enter it under "Join". Paste any image URL to use it as the room's wallpaper for everyone.
Private Rooms use WebSockets โ movement, chat, and gestures are instant. Live voice is continuous (Discord-style) from the Voice Channel panel. Up to 25 people per room.
Create a Room+ (public)ร
Like a private room, but no password โ public and listed for everyone. Uses the same default look as private rooms (not other public room themes). Optional image URL becomes the shared wallpaper. You are moderator only in this room. The room stays open until the last person leaves, then it closes.
