Each card below is the same painted scene you'll stand in inside the app: beaches, skylines, neon nights, forests, studios. Hit Launch ParlorVP and pick one from the lobby — or create a private password room, or a public Room+ (same private look, no password, optional wallpaper).

Everything happens in the room, with the people in it — no feeds, no follower counts. Pick a theme under More → Prefs → Theme whenever you want a different look.
Retro, Midnight, Neon, and Aurora. Switch anytime under Prefs — your choice is remembered in the browser for next visit.
Click the floor or drag your avatar. Start in Observe (watch only), then left-click the room to enter and walk. Right-click your avatar for gestures.
Discord-style sidebar: Join, mute, and speak with smart voice activity detection plus built-in noise reduction while you're in voice.
Create a password room, optional image wallpaper, share the password with friends. No signup — just the password and this site.
Public custom room, no password. Same default look as private rooms (not other room themes). Optional wallpaper. Creator is moderator only there. Stays open until the last person leaves.
Turn into the bus, friends board you, then drive the whole group into another room together.
Right-click an avatar or people-list row → Play game: Tic-Tac-Toe, Battleship, Connect Four, Checkers, Rock–Paper–Scissors, and Flappy Race.
See who's online across rooms. Whisper anyone globally, or Join to jump to their room (private rooms ask for the password).
WebSocket sync for movement, chat, gestures, DMs, and voice signaling. Open on phone or desktop — same rooms, same people.
When you create a Room+, you become its moderator only in that room — kick, mute, and clear chat without an admin password. The room stays listed until the last person leaves, then it closes. Built-in public rooms can be moderated by site admins. Private rooms stay between people who know the password.
private rooms / three steps
No email, no install, no payment. Share the password the same way you'd share a door code.
Open Private → Create. Choose a room name, a strong password, and optionally paste an image URL as the shared wallpaper for everyone who joins.
Send friends this site's link and the password (not in a public room). They open ParlorVP → Private → Join and type the same password.
Walk, chat, whisper, play games (right-click someone), join voice, and ride the Party Bus — same tools as public rooms, just gated by the password.
ParlorVP is a fan-made homage to classic avatar chat (Virtual Places, Excite Talk, and similar hangouts). It is not affiliated with those products. It's free to use; donations help keep hosting online. Change look anytime under More → Prefs → Theme.
Treat it like a public hangout: don't share bank logins or real secrets in chat. Use long private-room passwords and share them out-of-band when you want a quieter space.
